(Psalm 133:1; John 13:34-35; Ephesians 4:1-3) Community Because we are complementary by design, we need one another. We desire each person in our church and within our community to experience a sense of family as evidenced by our love for one another as we gather together in safe, transparent, and authentic spaces to work through issues of faith and life. (Acts 2:42-47; John 17:20-23; Ephesians 4:1-6) Equity Because the wages of sin is death, God’s greatest act of justice is salvation, however the gift of God is eternal life. We view salvation as both justification by faith and social action as we seek the holistic transformation of individuals and institutions. (Isaiah 1:17; Amos 5:7, 15, Micah 6:8) Generosity We willfully and cheerfully give our time, treasures, and talents so that others’ lives can be improved and impacted (Proverbs 22:9; 2 Corinthians 9:7) Quality We bring glory to God when we offer Him our best efforts and present to Him our best selves. We seek to serve in a spirit of excellence knowing God requires competency and consistency in addition to our character. Children and Youth Children and Youth Thank you for showing an interest in serving with the Word Tab Children’s Ministry! We’re a fun, energetic ministry that touches the lives of children each week as we help them learn who God is and discover His plan for their life. Anyone interested in volunteering with the children’s ministry, must complete a mandatory background check. Ministry Areas After School Program The after school program is designed for grades K-8, providing van transportation from local schools to the Impact Center where the children are cared for in a fun and safe environment. Contact afterschool@wordtab.net for more information. Children's Church and Bible Study If you are interested in helping love and guide kids during these formative years, we have a place for you. There are teams for childrens check in, teachers, nursery, and special events. Contact children@wordtab.net for more information. Girl Scouts The Girl Scouts teaches life-long skills such as: Goal setting, Decision making, Money management, People skills, and Business ethics.
