What is Salvation?
Salvation is a gift from God, through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, which forgives us for our sins and grants us eternal life.
How do I become Saved?
This free gift of grace is received through believing. Romans 10:9 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Become A Member
You may have been attending Word Tabernacle for a while and are now wondering, “How do I become a member?”
If you feel this is where God is leading you as a place to worship Him and a place where you can serve others in order to advance His kingdom, then you are in the right place.
If you are ready to become a member, we would love to have one of our altar counselors speak with you. Take a moment and fill in your information at the link below and someone will contact you.
After speaking with an altar counselor, you will become a part of the Word Tabernacle Church family by completing the New Members class! Church membership isn't just about having your name on the roster. It is about committing to a discipleship community in which you can serve, be served, share life with others, and grow in Christ!
Children's new members is during Children's Church on Sunday. Preteen and Youth sessions titled "The Way" are hosted on third Sundays, and adult sessions can be completed on Sunday mornings, by Zoom on Thursdays, or through the self-paced online option. (Acts 2:42-47)
Baptism
Baptism is an outward confession of your faith, your commitment to God, and obedience to Christ. It does not save us, rather it is a response to salvation. Baptism is symbolic of the of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ which, by faith and grace, saves us. (Matthew 28:19, Romans 6:3-5, Matthew 3:13-17)
