Vision, Mission, & Values Our Values Accountability We are personally responsible and accountable to one another for our attitude, actions, and integrity as a means of accomplishing vision, building character, ensuring sound decision making, and growing as balanced disciples. (Acts 15:4; Job 31:6) Authority The Holy Bible is divinely inspired by God and is the inerrant authority by which God communicates, instructs, reveals, and directs our growth and our goals (2 Tim 3:16-17) Community Because we are complementary by design, we need one another. Just as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are unified in purpose, we are to reflect the nature or God by uniting through our common faith and goals. We desire each person in our church and within our community to experience a sense of family as evidenced by our love for one another as we gather together in safe, transparent, and authentic spaces to work through issues of faith and life. (Acts 2:42-47; John 17:20-23; Ephesians 4:1-6) Equity Because the wages of sin is death, God’s greatest act of justice is salvation, however the gift of God is eternal life. We view salvation as both justification by faith and social action as we seek the holistic transformation of individuals and institutions. (Isaiah 1:17; Amos 5:7, 15, Micah 6:8) Generosity We willfully and cheerfully give our time, treasures, and talents so that others’ lives can be improved and impacted (Proverbs 22:9; 2 Corinthians 9:7) Quality We bring glory to God when we offer Him our best efforts and present to Him our best selves. We seek to serve in a spirit of excellence knowing God requires competency and consistency in addition to our character. Preteen and Youth Preteen and Youth Spotlights WTC Preteen and Youth Ministries are where 4th-13th Grade students can grow, worship, fellowship, serve, and discover their identity and purpose in Christ in a fun and safe environment. We break out into small groups and studies, go on retreats, have awesome events, gather during the week, and serve as a team — all to empower people in every area of life to the glory of God. Pre-Teen Bible Study 4th-6th Grade | Tuesdays at 7pm The Preteen Ministry aims to help students and families thrive through preteen journey! Weekly Pre Teen Bible Study is catered to thier age group so they can truly learn how to study the Word of God! Student Section Seating 4th Grade - College Aged |Sundays at 9am Your are welcome to sit with you family during Sunday morning service or you can join us in the student section! We would love for you to introduce yourself and make a new friend to worship God with. The student section is located on the left side of the stage when you enter the Center for Performing Arts (CPAW). Youth Bible Study 7-13th Grade | Tuesdays at 7pm Weekly Youth Bible Study is real, relevant, and responsive! God gave us scripture so that we can know how to be in relationship with Him through salvation and how we should live on Earth through sanctification. "The Way" Classes 4th-13th Grade | 3rd Saturdays 8:30am-12:30pm The Way is a monthly opportunity for the student ministry to discuss purpose, design, salvation, sanctification, and connecting to Christ, Church, and the Community! Students in 4th-13th grade are welcome to join on third Saturdays from 8:30am-12:30pm! You don’t have to be a member or WTC to come!
